Our clear face shields, (or sneeze guards) were developed by Kitronik.co.uk and Nottingham NHS Trust to provide a suitable way of minimising spray from coughs and sneezes. They use lightweight polypropylene for the adjustable headband to make them comfortable when worn, and to keep the PVC visor away from the face to avoid fogging. They provide a clear field of vision.
Our Face shield is designed for short term use, however they may be reused in line with local guidelines. The usual method of cleaning is to use a detergent or bleach solution, or with a decontamination product as agreed by the local infection prevention and control (IPC) specialists. They should be rinsed thoroughly to remove any residual detergent or cleaning product wiped and left to dry fully
This shield is not a substitute for respiratory protection and cannot guarantee to protect the user from COVID-19 - always follow government advice.
The product is manufactured in the UK to British standards but do not have the CE certification necessary for hospital use. (good stock available)
Our cotton washable masks or face coverings consist of a simple textile rectangle or shaped pieces covering the nose and mouth and held in place by elastic loops behind the ears, or laces tied behind the wearer's head. These are simple products which cannot guarantee to protect the user from COVID-19, but help to prevent the spread of disease by limiting the effects of coughing and sneezing. They do not provide enough filtering to stop the wearer from breathing in the virus and therefore they are not classed as PPE and as such do not require CE marking. (good stock available)
Mask clips: Acrylic lasered clips to attach a mask to alleviate pressure on the ears when wearing masks for long periods. Easily washed for re-use. (Good stock available)
Scrubs available now in new material for NHS use or Pre-used material for Carers (limited stock available)
Aprons (no stock available)
